National Civics Bee

ABOUT THE BEE
The Greater Muncie Chamber of Commerce partnered with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a first-of-its-kind civics competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. Participating 6th, 7th, and 8th graders flexed their civics knowledge for a chance to win recognition and cash prizes.

Congratulations to Hunter from Delaware Community School Corporation, who took first place, followed by Noah from Daleville Community Schools, who received second place, and Braxton from Muncie Community Schools, who took home third place. Each student worked extremely hard, and we are proud of each of their efforts!

The top three winners will advance to compete in the Indiana Civics Bee Competition on August 23 at the Statehouse – hosted by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Indiana Department of Education.

We are looking forward to hosting the National Civics Bee® in 2025!
